So it has begun! The long awaited tour of Sweden and Norway kicked off today!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Sweden on Monday, January 29th. They arrived late in the evening because they insisted on waiting until Prince George and Princess Charlotte arrived home from school and nursery. The kids stayed in London with their nanny, Maria.
•Bandy Hockey in Vasaparken
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stated their day and tour off by visiting a
bandy hockey event in Vasaparken. This sport is extremely popular in the Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, and even the US. The Duke and Duchess were able to watch a game
and then participate themselves!

•Sweden’s National Center of Architect and Design
For their last engagement of the day before their black-tie dinner,
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited ArchDesC,
Sweden’s National Center of Architect and Design. Here they attended an event
celebrating architectural collaboration and the best of Swedish design.

•Black Tie Dinner
The last event of the day was a black-tie dinner at the British Ambassador’s
house in Stockholm. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were also present.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also met and sat down to talk to
the prime minister of Sweden and his wife right before the dinner.
