Recap of Day Four of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Visit to Pakistan (October 14th-18th):
To start off their day, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge boarded their RAF Voyager plane to head back to Islamabad from Lahore, the city the spend all of yesterday in.
The plan was for The Duke and Duchess to actually return to Islamabad last night but due to extremely bad weather and two failed landings in Islamabad, William and Kate and the travel long press pack spent the night in Lahore.
The Duchess of Cambridge said of the whole experience: “It was bumpy up there but we were looked after so wonderfully by the RAF. They did a great job, it was amazing that everyone home safely so we’re hugely grateful to them.”
For her first outfit of the day, The Duchess of Cambridge wore a Tunic by local Pakistani brand, Élan, with some Gul Ahmed trousers, and Maheen Khan dupatta. She also wore the JCrew heels she used all through yesterday and carried her Smythson Tote.
Because of the flight delay, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had to cancel some engagements including a visit to the Kyber Pass. Instead they had a private engagement I Lahore before heading to Islamabad. But they did have one special engagement they could not cancel…
For their last engagement on Royal Visit Pakistan, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited an Army Canine Center where they got to meet the sweetest little pups! I’m super jealous:
Army Canine Unit in Islamabad where they train all the dogs and puppies for military use. The unit works with the “U.K. defence animal training centre in Melton Mowbray”.
These pups were at the time being specifically trained to detect improvised explosive devices:

For this engagement, The Duchess of Cambridge changed into a Beulah London jacket from their 2014 collection signifying she’s had it for around 5 years. She paired it with the same pants from her departure from Lahore and she wore some new Russell and Bromley flats.
That’s a wrap on yet another amazing and strong tour by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge which absolutely accomplished it’s purpose of modern Pakistan.
It was revealed that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge passed by until their flight by spending time with the children of SOS Children’s Village once again! The visit was not announced not counted as an engagement and they had one photographer with them.
The couple enjoyed playing some cricket with the kids…
They even got some customs bracelets!
The Duchess got a pink one while The Duke got a nice blue and black one which he wore for the rest of the day.
The Duchess of Cambridge posted on KP saying: The community at the SOS Village is built around family – and the best possible family you could imagine – where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care.
These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive. — Catherine
An amazing end of a fantastic tour! Lovely video posted by Kensington Palace with a recap of their visit:
To my lovely Pakistani followers: Thank you for sharing your joy and and thank you for welcoming our Duke and Duchess with such open arms and hospitality. William and Kate may have captured your hearts’ but your beautiful country, and most importantly the people in it, has captured mine.
