The Cambridges are the future heir family of The British Royal Family. Their official residence is Kensington Palace.

The Duke of Cambridge

The Duke of Cambridge was born on June 21st, 1982 as Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales to The Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales (1961-1997). The Duke has a younger brother, Prince Harry, who was born in 1984. He is second-in-line to the throne and will succeed his father as King when the time comes.

The Duke of Cambridge’s education began at Mrs. Mynor’s Nursery School in 1985. He then went on to Wetherby School (1987), Ludgrove School (1990), and Eton College (1995). His Royal Highness began attending The University of St. Andrews in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a 2:1 Master of Arts in Geography.

After University, The Duke of Cambridge embarked on a military career which is customary for men in The British Royal Family. He graduated the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst an Army Officer and then joined the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals). He began training as Search and Rescue Pilot in early 2009 and “joined C Flight, 22 Squadron at RAF Valley in Anglesey in September 2010”.

After his contract with the Royal Air Force expired in 2013, The Duke of Cambridge became an Air Ambulance Pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance. He worked for the EAAA from March 2015 to July 2017 when he gave up flying to become a full-time royal.

As well as doing engagements on behalf of The Queen, The Duke of Cambridge has an abundance of charitable interests including Homelessness, Mental Health, the Armed Forces, and Conservation

While studying at St. Andrews from 2001-2005 he met Miss Catherine Middleton and began dating her around 2003-2004. After 7 or so years of dating, their engagement was announced on November 16th, 2010 and they got married in a wedding dubbed “The Wedding of The Century” on April 29th, 2011. Upon his wedding he recieved the titles: The Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have three children: Prince George (b. 2013), Princess Charlotte (b. 2015), and Prince Louis (b. 2018).

The Duchess of Cambridge

The Duchess of Cambridge was born as Catherine Elizabeth Middleton on January 9th, 1982 to Michael and Carole Middleton in Berkshire, Buckelbury. The Duchess had a normal upbringing as she was born into a middle-class family. Her parents at first worked for British Airways, which is where they met, before opening up a successful party decorating business. Catherine is the older sister to Pippa (1983) and James (1987) Middleton.

The Duchess of Cambridge began her education in Jordan, which is where her family was living at the time, where she went to an English speaking nursery. The Middletons returned to the UK in 1986 and The Duchess began attending St. Andrews School until 1995. She then went to Malborough College up until July 2000. In 2001, The Duchess began studying at the University of St. Andrews and graduated in 2005 with a 2:1 in History of Art.

After university, she worked for sometime with Jigsaw before working as a website designer, photographer, and relationships manager at her parents’ company, Party Pieces.

Prince George of Cambridge

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born on July 22nd, 2013 to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the Lindo Wing in Paddington, London. He is currently third in line to the throne and will succeed his father as King when the time comes.

Prince George has accompanied his parents on 3 royal tours. In 2014, he went to Australia and New Zealand. 2016 saw him in Canada with his parents and younger sister, Princess Charlotte. And in 2017, they were in Germany and Poland.

In January 2016, Prince George began attending Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk where he and his family were living at the time. After they moved full-time back to London in September 2017, Prince George began attending Thomas’s Battersea School where he currently still attends.

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge was born on May 2nd, 2015 to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the Lindo Wing in Paddinton, London and is their only daughter. Princess Charlotte is currently fourth in line to throne and in 2018 became the first Princess in the British Royal Family to hold her place in the line of succession after the birth of a younger brother.

Princess Charlotte has accompanied her parents on 2 royal tours. In 2016, she went to Canada with her older brother, Prince George, and her parents while 2017 saw the 4 of them in Poland and Germany.

In January of 2018, Princess Charlotte began attending Willcocks Nursery School in London.

Prince Louis of Cambridge

Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge was born on April 23rd, 2018 to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the Lindo Wing in Paddington, London. He is currently fifth in line to the throne.

Prince Louis has only officially been seen three times since his birth in April. The first was in July when he was christened,the second was when he appeared in official photographs marking his grandfather’s 70th birthday in November 2018, the third and most recent was on December 14th when a photo was released to celebrate the holidays!

January 22nd: The Duchess of Cambridge will visit Family Action in Lewisham, which provides support for children and families in South London, to launch ‘FamilyLine’, a national support line.

January 22nd: The Duke of Cambridge will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland where he will take part in a conversation with Sir David Attenborough on stage.

January 23rd: The Duke of Cambridge will join a panel discussion on mental health at the World World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
